Step – by – Step Cooking Process
Marinating the Beef
- Cut the beef against the grain into thin slices. Placing the beef in the freezer for 15 – 30 minutes before slicing can make the process easier.
- In a bowl, combine 1 tablespoon light soy sauce, 1 teaspoon dark soy sauce, 1 tablespoon oyster sauce, 1 teaspoon sugar, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 tablespoon cornstarch, 1 tablespoon cooking wine, and 1 tablespoon sesame oil. Add the beef slices to the bowl and mix well. Let the beef marinate for at least 15 minutes, allowing it to absorb the flavors.
Preparing the Onions
- Peel the onions and cut them into wedges. Separating the onion layers will ensure even cooking.
Stir – Frying
